What you will do

The MEA Technical Support BAS & Controls role is an advanced technical support position reporting to the Sales Operations Manager. It is a key role in the MEA region, supporting sales and growth initiatives by providing technical support, field support, technical updates, application assistance on current and discontinued products, and training services for our BAS & Controls customers.

As a member of this team, you will work within a dynamic environment that offers a platform for immediate impact on our customer experience.

How you will do it

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will establish a support program to provide accurate and timely assistance to our customers. Your technical expertise will cover both presales and post-commissioning technical queries. You should have in-depth technical knowledge of Controls/Building Automation Systems. Continuous learning opportunities and new product launches will support your development. Additionally, you will provide feedback to our product management and engineering teams based on issues reported through the technical support channel.

You are a self-starter, problem solver, and data/analytics-driven, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences, with a customer-oriented attitude.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of technical support experience in Controls/Building Automation Systems
• Strong BAS & Controls technical knowledge with recent experience in pre- and post-technical sales support for sales teams, channel partners, consultants, distributors, and end users
• Technical acumen with commercial understanding
• Flexibility to travel
• Ability to drive in UAE
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage

Preferred

• Experience with Johnson Controls Facility Explorer System, Metasys System, or Tridium Niagara product line (not necessary but advantageous)
• Experience programming and troubleshooting HVAC controllers and SCADA systems
• Knowledge of HVAC protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks, KNX, and MBus
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
