Job Purpose
The individual in this role is tasked with the responsibility to deliver targeted learning programs that enhance workforce capability gaps, drive employee performance & career growth, that aligns with business objectives. The role fosters a culture of continuous learning, evaluates training effectiveness, and collaborate with stakeholders to build future-ready talent.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess organizational and employee competency or skills gaps in collaboration with business units and managers to prioritize and recommend targeted learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Group L&D Manager and external partners to design, develop, and deliver innovative e-learning modules, workshops, seminars, and blended learning solutions, ensuring alignment with Al Masaood’s competency framework and business objectives.
- Support the administration and execution of the annual employee engagement survey, including coordination with vendors, data collection, and organizing post-survey feedback sessions and action planning.
- Coordinate with external trainers and facilitators to deliver training programs across classroom, online, and blended formats, and ensure smooth induction sessions for new joiners as required by the business.
- Collaborate with consultants to successfully integrate LMS modules into SAP, administer the LMS, track learner progress, maintain training records, ensure compliance, and enhance the user experience.
- Work closely with HR and L&D teams to integrate learning initiatives into the performance management cycle, supporting goal setting, reviews, and development planning.
- Measure training program effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics; analyze findings and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance data, and certification compliance documentation.
- Prepare, analyze, and present detailed reports on training activities, learner progress, trends, and outcomes to HR teams to inform decisions and drive improvements.
- Communicate learning opportunities and promote a culture of continuous development through internal newsletters and intranet platforms.
- Collaborate with external providers to source, negotiate, and deliver specialized training programs aligned with business needs.
- Support the L&D budget planning process and monitor expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Continuously monitor trends, innovations, and best practices in learning technologies and adult education to enhance the impact and efficiency of L&D initiatives.
Deliverables/Self-Management Responsibilities:
- Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the Line Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the year.
- Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Line Manager to ensure that the required training is arranged and attended.
Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency in all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
Background & Experience (years)
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIPD (Levels 3, 5, or 7), CPTD, or Certified Corporate/Master Trainer.
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis and training delivery.
- Knowledge of instructional design and e-learning development (LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, or equivalent platforms).
- Strong project management skills to plan, organize, and facilitate in execution of training programs effectively.
