Wood is presently looking to hire a Specialist Civil Engineer to be seconded to ADNOC Offshore office in Abu Dhabi. Below are more details about the role. This position is to support client’s in house engineering projects and NOT a PMC position.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region
Must have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing team of Engineers and designers
Offshore experience is must, whilst ADNOC experience is desired
Extensive knowledge in International codes of practices, including British standards, ACI, AISC, ADNOC design practices & Global practices, ADNOC Standards and Shell DEP’s
Hands on experience in industry software, such as STAAD Pro Connect Edition, Mat 3D, Foundation 3D, PROKON, 3D Model Review Tools (SPR & Navis Works), MS Office Suite, etc.
Able to communicate in English both in verbally and writing with other disciplines & multinational work forces in effective manner
Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
