NOW HIRING A LEGAL COUNSEL - LITIGATION

Our client is a Real Estate Development company specialising in luxury projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide expert legal advice to senior leadership on litigation and dispute-related matters, ensuring the company’s interests are protected.
• Manage and oversee all active disputes, including commercial, construction, and real estate litigation, from initial claim through to resolution.
• Draft, review, and respond to legal notices, claims, settlement agreements, and other dispute-related documentation.
• Lead interactions with regulatory bodies, including the Dubai Land Department and RERA, particularly in the context of investigations, complaints, and enforcement matters.
• Identify potential legal risks related to disputes and develop mitigation strategies in line with business objectives.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely provision of documentation and evidence.
• Advise on contentious matters related to real estate transactions, project delivery, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure the business remains up to date on relevant legal developments in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Support the continuous improvement of internal legal processes related to dispute handling and reporting.

Requirements :

• 12+ years of legal experience, with a strong litigation background.
• 5+ years of experience in Litigation with a Tier 1 Real Estate Developer.
• Minimum 3 years UAE Experience.
• Proven experience dealing with the Dubai Land Department and RERA.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to operate effectively in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
