Job description

The Brand Innovation Lab (BIL) is Amazon's custom prototyping and development team for brands and their advertising agencies. We focus on the conception and execution of branded custom experiences across Amazon properties.

Role Overview

The Senior Solutions Manager of the MENA region Brand Innovation Lab Team will partner with internal teams to lead key accounts and scope, pitch, and execute unique campaigns for some of the world's most valuable brands. Through excellence in strategic thinking, relationship management, and project management, this role will elevate the creative standards for brands and their customers. As the Markets Solutions Manager, you will be the go-to person for partner teams and lead clients toward innovative ideas.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build relationships with advertising clients, helping them navigate Amazon channels and unlock customer-centric innovation.
  2. Collaborate with Sales Leads and Directors to identify opportunities where the Brand Innovation Lab can add value and drive incremental revenue.
  3. Stay informed about new opportunities within and outside Amazon to inspire the creative team.
  4. Lead the development of pitches and proposals for advertising clients.
  5. Manage the intake and resource allocation process, balancing commitments and exploring alternative solutions.
  6. Ensure data quality and output using Salesforce and Asana systems.
  7. Foster strong internal relationships at all levels within the organization.
Daily Activities

You will partner with art directors, design technologists, program managers, and producers to create innovative work by leveraging Amazon's platforms such as Alexa, Twitch, and Prime Video. Your work will benefit customers and push creative boundaries. You will set strategies for key projects, manage complex initiatives, and inspire your team to think creatively and market innovatively. You will also lead pitches to senior stakeholders and advocate for the role of creativity in driving business results.

About the Team

The Brand Innovation Lab team is Amazon's internal group that creates unique campaigns and activations for global advertisers like Nivea, Lego, McDonald's, Qatar Airways, and Mars. Using Amazon platforms, we craft campaigns reaching millions of customers both digitally and in the real world. In the MENA region, we are a small, agile team building the future of Brand Innovation Lab.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 8 years of digital advertising and client-facing roles with a focus on data analysis.
  • Experience with annual brand and media planning.
  • Experience working with large, complex enterprise clients in a consultative role.
  • Proven ability to create processes and improve tools with measurable impact.
  • Experience managing teams.
