Job Title: Field Engineer Submersible Pump Troubleshooting (Municipal Water Systems)

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Field Engineer to support the troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of submersible pumps in municipal water and wastewater systems. This role involves on-site technical assessments, hands-on repair work, and proactive customer support to ensure reliable operation of critical infrastructure across municipal pumping stations.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience working with submersible pumps in water and wastewater applications.
  3. Strong understanding of municipal pumping infrastructure and control systems (SCADA, PLC, VFDs).
  4. Proficiency in fault diagnosis and use of industry-standard testing tools.
  5. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  6. Ability to work independently, travel to multiple sites, and respond to emergency callouts as needed.
  7. Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with leading pump brands such as Flygt, KSB, Sulzer, or Grundfos.
  2. Familiarity with confined space entry procedures and local water safety standards.
  3. Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
