Your new role

As an Accountant Graduate, you will embark on an exciting journey that will allow you to build a solid foundation in the accounting profession. In this entry-level role, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of accounting while contributing to meaningful financial operations within the company.

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements (accounts receivables, accounts payable, profit and loss, and taxation), including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes by reconciling accounts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Maintaining general ledgers and preparing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Preparing, reviewing, and analysing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assisting in the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to help the company achieve its financial goals.
• Collaborating with team members and senior accountants to improve financial processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of the department.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with various departments across the organisation to ensure smooth financial operations.

What you'll need to succeed

• A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP, AP, AR, PnL, financial statements).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and financial functions) and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• A keen interest in pursuing a long-term career in accounting and finance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
