Job description

Our client is a leading award-winning Digital Media Agency based in Dubai. They are looking to expand their operations across the GCC and internationally. They offer an amazing work culture and great career progression, working with some of the top leading brands across various industries.

Responsibilities

  1. The Digital & Social Media Head will develop and implement digital and social strategies in support of branding advocacy and organizational initiatives for all clients/brands from various industries.
  2. The role will work to develop innovative tactics, contribute to the planning and creation of content, and assess the effectiveness of digital efforts for websites and social media.
  3. Manage all social media platforms, strategy, and planning of content calendars and campaigns.
  4. Includes blogs, website content, podcasts, video content, etc.
  5. Attend organizational events and meetings, follow staff in the office or field to gather and produce real-time social content, both static and video.
  6. Run paid advertising across multiple channels (e.g., Facebook (Meta), Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and track results using tools such as Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics.
  7. Develop and monitor KPIs.
  8. Interface with agency partners (advertising and digital) to help implement strategies and provide day-to-day support for ongoing projects.
  9. Identify emerging digital trends, best practices, and technologies that would benefit the organization.
  10. Develop and strengthen agency relationships with social media contacts across industries.
  11. Manage website development, ongoing maintenance, and performance monitoring, including SEO.
  12. Manage digital mailings and file all relevant digital content.

Requirements:

  1. Previous social media experience in an agency environment leading teams.
  2. In-depth industry knowledge of best practices and operating as a thought leader in your field.
  3. Excellent presentation skills.
  4. Highly organized with impeccable project management skills.
  5. Proven experience in creating and growing influencer marketing and advocate programs.
  6. A natural leader with a love of managing and developing a team.
  7. Experience working on multiple brands simultaneously.
  8. Highly collaborative.
  9. Global experience, especially in the GCC & Middle East, is a plus. Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
