Job description

A Pediatrician specializes in the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their overall health and well-being. This role involves diagnosing and treating illnesses, monitoring growth and development, administering vaccinations, and advising parents on proper child healthcare. Pediatricians work closely with families to provide guidance on nutrition, behavior, and preventive care. They may also collaborate with specialists to manage chronic conditions or complex medical cases. Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills are essential for building trust with young patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses, infections, and injuries in children from infancy to adolescence.

Monitor and track the growth and development of children through regular check-ups.

Administer and recommend vaccinations according to medical guidelines.

Provide guidance to parents on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to each child s needs.

Address behavioral, emotional, and social concerns related to child development.

Requirements:

Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in Pediatrics.

Valid HAAD license.

Proven experience as a Pediatrician in a clinical or hospital setting.

Strong knowledge of childhood diseases, treatments, and developmental stages.

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to communicate effectively with children and their families.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to medical care.

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
