Position Objective

The Information Security Manager at Papel is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's information security program, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of digital assets. This includes implementing and managing PCI DSS compliance, conducting penetration testing, and applying relevant security controls. The ISM will collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain a robust cybersecurity posture aligned with Papel's business goals and risk appetite.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security program, including policies, procedures, and controls, to protect assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Manage PCI DSS compliance, ensuring all requirements are met and audits are completed regularly.
• Implement and adhere to ISO 27001 standards.
• Oversee penetration testing activities, vulnerability assessments, and incident response to identify and remediate security risks.
• Collaborate with departments to assess and mitigate information security risks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor cybersecurity threats and trends, recommending and implementing countermeasures.
• Develop cybersecurity awareness and training programs for employees.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring security requirements are integrated into contracts.
• Work with technical teams to implement and maintain security measures.
• Collaborate with the CTO to improve cybersecurity policies, processes, tools, and controls.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in information and cybersecurity within financial services; fintech experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of regulatory standards in fintech, digital assets, and global payments.
• Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments, preferably in startups, digital assets, or fintech sectors.
