What Does a Sales Manager Events & MICE Do?
As a Sales Manager for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE), you ll be responsible for promoting the hotel s event and group business, building long-term client relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination of all events. Your focus will be on growing market share, enhancing guest satisfaction, and supporting the hotel s commercial strategy.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Proactively solicit MICE, group, and event business to achieve revenue targets
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts based on client requirements
- Manage negotiations and close group/event deals effectively
- Maintain updated records of accounts, activities, and follow-ups
- Attend industry trade shows, conventions, and promotional events
- Work closely with operations and event teams to ensure seamless execution
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, travel agents, and event planners
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity for strategic planning
- Provide regular reporting on account performance and pipeline
What Skills Are Needed for a MICE Sales Manager in Dubai?
Education and Experience:
