• Monitor and manage inventory levels of construction materials, ensuring that stock is optimized for project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory to verify stock accuracy, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective measures swiftly.
• Collaborate with project managers of at least 8 to 10 projects and procurement teams to forecast material needs based on upcoming projects and current inventory status.
• Utilize inventory management ERP/SAP software to track stock movements, generate reports, and provide insights to improve inventory turnover.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution processes of materials, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and prices while maintaining strong relationships for timely deliveries.
• Train and supervise inventory staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in inventory control and documentation.
• Develop and enforce inventory management policies to minimize losses and reduce waste in the construction supply chain.
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory levels, usage trends, and forecasts for management review, facilitating informed decision-making.
• Implement lean inventory practices to enhance efficiency and reduce carrying costs while ensuring project requirements are met.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Any Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management in UAE within the construction or related industry is essential.
