Status Labs is hiring a Business Development Manager to establish an international office in Dubai and to grow its UAE business in 2025.

The Role:

This is a leadership position within Status Labs with the opportunity to build the company’s Middle Eastern business and to manage its P&L. Once trained you will be the primary point of contact for Status Labs’ clients in the Middle East and will have responsibility for hiring and leading a team of account and business development managers.

This role will lead Status Labs’ entry into the UAE with responsibility for bringing in new business, building referral partnerships, opening the physical office space in Dubai and in hiring a business development team.

This is a full-time, salaried position based in Dubai. The role has an opportunity to make uncapped commissions, and our top performers make $150-200k per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Build Status Labs' customer base in the Middle East with support from the President of Status Labs’ International business.
  • Find new business development and referral opportunities through networking and grow them into long-term partnerships.
  • Present services to prospective clients.
  • Lead kick-off calls and report on ongoing campaigns for Middle Eastern clients.
  • Manage the client experience from the initial conversation to scoping an engagement, negotiating an agreement, and managing the ongoing relationship.
  • Hire and train an initial team of 3-4 Sales Development Representatives with support from our International sales team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in closing new business within either a high-value professional services sales process or luxury asset sales environment.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in dealing with ultra-high net worth individuals (e.g. private banking, wealth management or luxury asset sales).
  • A keen interest in current affairs and media.
  • Bachelor's degree at 2.1 or higher.
  • Higher education qualifications in management (MBA/CIMA/MSc) desired.
  • English and Arabic language proficiency. Additional languages beneficial.
