Job description

Investment Advisor - Emirati Segment

Manage and oversee the investment book in the Emirati Segment, including Certificates of Deposits, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Equities, and Structured Products.

Engage with prospective and existing clients to promote the bank's investment offerings.

Conduct investment account reviews to ensure alignment with clients' investment objectives.

Hold regular investment discussions with bank units to keep them informed on market conditions, strategies, and solutions.

Collaborate to develop marketable investment ideas and contribute to the area's investment views.

Gather and provide client feedback to enhance investment services.

Work with internal stakeholders on various projects and initiatives.

Serve as a role model for Relationship Managers regarding investment governance and client-centric approaches.

Support and proactively enhance the Emirati Segment's investment business offerings.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  1. Deliver tailored investment solutions to Relationship Managers and clients based on risk profiles and needs.
  2. Develop strategies to increase the number of clients investing with the bank.
  3. Support achievement of revenue, AUM, and new client acquisition targets.
  4. Monitor, rebalance, and restructure client portfolios for optimal satisfaction.
  5. Address client requests transparently and manage objections professionally.
  6. Interpret macroeconomic research and translate insights into investment actions.
  7. Possess knowledge of financial markets, products, instruments, and portfolio management principles.
  8. Experience in investment advisory, financial markets, and economic analysis.
  9. Deep understanding of investment products and instruments.
  10. Familiarity with strategic and tactical asset allocation.
  11. Knowledge of risk profiling to match clients with suitable products.
  12. Preferably hold or be pursuing CFA, FRM, or CAIA certifications.
  13. Minimum Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution.
  14. Arabic language proficiency is mandatory.
