Job description

The Department of Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship at American University of Sharjah invites applicants for a full-time/visiting faculty position in international business/strategy at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the department’s research, teaching, and service. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: international business, global management, cross-cultural management, and strategy. The salary is competitive, commensurate with experience, and tax-free in the UAE. Free housing, paid utilities, and other attractive benefits are provided.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• All candidates must have a PhD in Management from an AACSB-accredited university. An ABD near completion will be considered.
• Candidates must demonstrate strong research potential, with promising working papers ideally on track for publication in top-tier management journals. Existing publications in such journals are a plus.
• The candidate should be willing and able to teach across the curriculum at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
