Job description:
Job Purpose:
The role holder is responsible for supporting the development and execution of social media strategies and initiatives to facilitate business requirements, ensuring alignment with established standards and guidelines.
Key Accountabilities:
- Social Media & Digital Experience Management
- Coordinate the execution of daily activities related to social media campaigns such as online advocacy, writing editorial content, community outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
- Drive the growth and adoption of social media channels as marketing and communication tools, increasing the usage of remote channels.
- Prepare social media content for websites in line with requirements and standards.
- Monitor Dubai Chambers' social media presence on websites and other platforms, ensuring content is uploaded timely and accurately.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather news/events and promote social media channel usage, maximizing social media presence.
- Coordinate with PR/Social Media agencies as needed to meet business requirements and ensure activities follow standards and guidelines.
- Analyze insights from social media platforms and provide feedback to support operational strategies.
- Prepare periodic reports on social media effectiveness and campaigns for senior management to aid decision-making.
- Stay updated on the latest social media tools, trends, and applications to align with current systems and controls.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree or a 3-year Diploma in Marketing or relevant field from a recognized university.
- Master's degree in marketing or a relevant field is preferred.
Minimum Experience and Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in social media/digital or marketing operations.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (reading, spoken, written).
- Experience in the UAE is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of the latest trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
- Understanding of social media platforms and deployment scenarios.
- Knowledge of social media optimization techniques.
- Experience in creating and developing social media content.
