Job Description

As the Senior Planning Engineer, you will oversee the planning and coordination of engineering activities within the organization. Your responsibilities include managing project timelines, resource allocation, and supporting the engineering team in delivering high-quality designs and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage external partnerships, and ensure formwork designs meet technical and project requirements. Additionally, you will guide the team to facilitate efficient collaboration and deliver optimal results for complex projects.

  • Manage multiple projects and engineering teams, including Junior PT and PT
  • Provide leadership and promote knowledge sharing, engineering training, and development
  • Analyze structural drawings provided by clients
  • Implement formwork solutions for basic and complex project needs, considering standards, safety, time, and cost efficiency
  • Design formwork for special applications and structures
  • Create customer presentations for project-specific applications and solutions
  • Propose economical and technically sound solutions
  • Conduct static calculations and structural analysis
  • Prepare material lists, offers, and shop drawings
  • Assist Sales Engineers with site visits, meetings, and client presentations
  • Ensure timely delivery of drawings, material lists, and calculations
  • Liaise with clients on technical issues and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with other departments involved in projects
  • Consider material availability during the design phase
Qualifications
  • Technical or Civil Engineering degree
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and formwork knowledge; experience with 3D software like Revit and Inventor is advantageous
  • Minimum of 8 years of specialized experience in formwork engineering and statics
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Team player with attention to detail and economic awareness
  • Ability to manage projects independently and coordinate with stakeholders
  • Extensive project management experience
