A leading financial institution in the UAE seeks an Institutional Sales Manager for Capital Markets. This senior role involves managing client portfolios, enhancing business through strategic partnerships, and executing sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial services, particularly in capital markets, and strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Job Overview
The Institutional Sales Manager Capital Markets - Abu Dhabi UAE will act as the primary point of contact for institutional clients and prospects, managing client portfolios and enhancing business through strategic partnerships, product promotion, and capital market events. The role includes market analysis, sales strategy execution, and strong collaboration with internal business units across FAB and FABS.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients across the region
* Promote equity offerings, IPOs, fixed income products, and other capital market solutions
* Lead client meetings, roadshows, presentations, and support capital raising initiatives
* Expand institutional client base based on the strategic business plan
* Coordinate with asset managers and investment professionals locally and internationally
* Collaborate with CIB relationship managers and other FAB departments for cross-selling
* Provide regular activity reports and updates to Head of Sales and Business Development
* Monitor market trends, perform competitor analysis, and recommend new product strategies
* Support internal training and awareness sessions for bank RMs and relationship teams
* Drive brand visibility and product awareness within institutional circles
* Assist with research and dissemination of relevant financial and market insights
* Ensure alignment with local regulations and legal requirements governing capital markets
* Contribute to business development initiatives and operational alignment with FABS teams
* Represent FAB in seminars, roadshows, and client events when required
Job Requirements
* University degree in finance, economics, or a related field
* Minimum 7 years of financial services experience, with at least 3 years in capital markets
* In-depth understanding of equity markets, IPOs, bonds, and regional market regulations
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
* Proven track record in institutional sales and product promotion in capital markets
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Capable of financial statement analysis and interpreting company and market performance
* Ability to build and manage internal and external client relationships strategically
* Self-driven, collaborative, and solution-focused
