Job Purpose
The Marketing Operations Specialist will manage the delivery of brand and tactical campaigns across all paid, owned, and earned channels for a number of markets of small to medium size and complexity. Ensure campaigns are executed in accordance with brand guidelines and the briefs provided by the Manager Marketing Communications (MMC). Responsible for managing relationships with multiple agencies across varying specialisms to ensure quality execution of campaigns across defined markets.
In This Role You Will
- Responsible for the development and execution of campaigns across various paid, owned, and earned channels in defined markets, ensuring that the overall campaign is of the right quality and is on budget.
- Translate internal marketing briefs for creative and PR agencies, working with the agencies to develop campaign responses for MMC sign-off, for small to medium size/complexity markets.
- Oversee and manage agencies (media, creative, and PR) during campaign implementation to ensure timely delivery as per the brief and maintain quality of assets released. Collect evidence from agencies or other sources as needed. Escalate issues to the Marketing Operations Manager and, where required, to the Media Regional Manager.
- Develop strong relationships with agencies, providing guidelines and frameworks for the Emirates brand, and collaborate to drive creative inspiration. Provide feedback on agency performance.
- Work collaboratively across departments, especially with MMC from a commercial perspective, and build a strong relationship with the Strategic Planner to incorporate data-driven insights into campaigns.
- Communicate effectively with Marketing Operations Managers, Media Regional Managers, and MMCs to recognize and understand variations or potential issues, maintaining responsibility for independent execution upon brief sign-off.
- Ensure the brand promise and customer experience are fully represented in campaigns across all touchpoints in all markets. Leverage data-driven insights to ensure customer-centric campaigns.
- Determine budget requirements for assigned markets, recommend optimizations, monitor and forecast budget utilization, and advise MMC on overspend or underspend situations.
- Collect data from internal and external sources, optimize ongoing campaigns with in-flight data, and gather post-campaign learnings for future improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Marketing & Media Communication or similar
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Marketing or related discipline
- Account management experience in an international marketing agency or in an international organization’s communications department
- Experience developing marketing briefs, planning and managing budgets, and implementing international marketing campaigns
- Excellent knowledge of marketing production aspects and international media planning
