Job Description

Purpose:

Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, improve sales performance, effectively manage assigned territory and targeted accounts, build strong customer relationships, and enhance customer needs-solving capabilities to maximize both short and long-term sales. Place the patient at the center of all efforts and operate within AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed set goals.
  2. Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance. Handle objections, misunderstandings, and concerns effectively, consistently closing sales.
  3. Proactively serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers.
  4. Develop and execute a call plan that meets call metrics, optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers, and maximizes access and sales opportunities.
  5. Build understanding of customer needs, market landscape, competitors, market segments, disease areas, products, clinical and sales expertise. Share market intelligence with the team to align strategies and adapt to environmental changes.
  6. Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with healthcare providers and identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and advocates to enhance brand performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical studies.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Product Specialist in a multinational company.
  • Relevant industry experience, ideally in specialty care therapy areas.
  • Experience in the UAE market with a strong performance record.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Practical knowledge of HCPs and disease area requirements.
  • Good understanding of market challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong ethics and integrity.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and improve.
