Job Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities by researching and analyzing sales options, prospective customers, and their industry position.
- Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects, recommending suitable solutions to sell products.
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; research and suggest new opportunities; recommend profit and service improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors to identify product improvements or new products.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
- Ensure quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
- Maintain customer relationships by visiting key clients regularly and involving superiors to ensure retention and generate additional business.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ensure adherence to credit policies, review debtor accounts regularly, and collect debts as per agreed credit terms.
- Handle customer complaints in coordination with Customer Service and Operations departments.
- Manage risks to prevent avoidable exposures to the company.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department to serve mutual requirements and interests effectively.
- Identify suitable overseas agents, negotiate rates and tariffs with shipping, airlines, and other service providers.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Sales or CEO.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- A valid driving license is mandatory.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, traffic rules, laws, and customs procedures at ports and borders related to road transportation.
