About the team
You will be part of a dynamic, autonomous team comprising Careem veterans and new members, all committed to building Careem Food. Our team shares core values of ownership, ambitious goals, and service to customers, partners, colleagues, and captains.
What you'll do
- Business Growth and Account Strategy: Lead proactive joint business planning to create value and foster growth with top-tier brands and local accounts. Identify opportunities to increase revenue, profitability, and market share. Conduct regular business reviews to ensure strategic alignment and performance.
- Partner Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with restaurant partners, acting as the primary contact. Provide support, resolve operational issues, and optimize partner content for performance.
- Commercial Optimization: Negotiate commission rates, manage contracts, and drive advertising sales. Develop promotions to increase order volume and partner visibility, enhancing partner value.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze account performance, make data-backed decisions, and maintain accurate sales and performance records.
- Operational Excellence: Resolve technical and operational issues swiftly to keep partners active and optimized on the platform.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in Sales/Account Management
- Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to flexible working conditions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Residency in or relocation to Abu Dhabi is required
