Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Principal Consultant Digital Transformation to join our management consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading digital transformation projects, particularly in the Roads, Water, or Wastewater Utilities sectors, and a proven track record of improving organizational capability, operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage digital transformation projects to enhance program management, asset management, maintenance management, customer service, networks management, information security management, service continuity management, and roads/water resource management.
2. Design and implement integrated solutions such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Enterprise Asset Management solutions, SCADA systems, and cloud-based backup solutions.
3. Spearhead efforts to address key roads/water resource management challenges by applying advanced digital solutions and services to optimize water distribution, enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, predict maintenance issues, and ensure sustainable water use.
4. Collaborate with various departments including marketing, IT, and customer service to ensure successful project delivery.
5. Develop and deploy technology strategies, organizational improvement plans, and iterative development plans.
6. Lead cross-functional international teams to achieve project objectives and improve organizational performance.
7. Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to develop organizational capability and sustain improvements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is highly desirable.
2. Chartered Engineer and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.
3. Minimum of 15 years of experience in digital technology and project management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
4. Proven experience in leading digital transformation projects in the Roads, Water, or Wastewater Utilities sector.
5. Strong knowledge of digital solutions and services including CRM systems, SCADA systems, and cloud-based solutions.
6. Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
9. Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring teams to develop organizational capability.

Additional Qualifications:

1. Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
2. Experience with Lean Six Sigma and performance management methodologies.
3. Knowledge of international best practices in roads/water resource management and digital transformation.
