Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
  • Be fully knowledgeable about all bar products and cocktail recipes.
  • Provide high personalized standard of quality and efficient/friendly service.
  • Prepare mise en place and perform side duties.
  • Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all beverage items and prepare garnishes for each cocktail accordingly.
  • Strictly adhere to opening and closing procedures established for the outlet and check beverage stock.
  • Monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
  • Follow all steps of service.
  • Ensure all stock is up to par levels.
  • Provide prompt accurate report of all income received during shift.
  • Sell beverages responsibly with the customers' best interest in mind.
  • Maintain smooth flow of service between bar and server requests.
  • Complete all side work as outlined in the manual.
  • Report to work on time and ready to work scheduled shifts.
  • Maintain a positive friendly attitude with coworkers and guests.
  • Maintain a clean orderly appearance in the restaurant service area.
  • Assist with/execute any tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Follow all proper sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
  • 12 years experience in hospitality.
  • Full compliance with HACCP standards and certification.
  • Able to work flexible hours (nights and weekends).
  • Responsible, dependable, and punctual.
  • Strong communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
  • Exhibit strong beverage knowledge.
  • Work experience in the GCC region is an advantage.
