Urgently required for a reputable automobile spare parts trading company based in Jebel Ali Dubai male Accounts Officer. He should have a minimum of 10 years of working experience in a big reputable company having a turnover of a minimum of AED 100 million.
His responsibilities are as follows :
- Manage and maintain accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and other financial data.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide insights and recommendations to the Finance Manager.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure the accuracy of information.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecast.
- Provide support during audits and tax preparation.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, depending on role.
- Utilize database software to organize financial account information.
- Handle account inquiries from internal and external sources.
- Make regular contact with clients to ensure payment.
- Ensure company financial accounts, such as credit cards, are paid on time.
- Perform internal audits on financial activities as necessary.
- Review both incoming and outgoing invoices.
- Generate financial reports for review by regulatory authorities.
- Maintain and review financial records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws.
- Monitor expenditure and profits and provide reports.
- Evaluate internal management systems, procedures, and risks to provide recommendations.
- Manage business accounts and prepare financial statements.
Accounting Officer Requirements :
- A degree in accounting or similar.
- Previous working experience as an Accounting Officer.
- Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.
- Proficiency in management systems.
- Sound interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
