What we're looking for:

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Account Manager to lead strategic communications across a portfolio of clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and brings a blend of strategic thinking, creative execution, and strong leadership. You’ll be responsible for driving PR workstreams and campaigns that span media relations, influencer engagement, content development, press office operations, crisis communications, and stakeholder management.

ToSucceed in This Role,You Need To:

  • Develop and implement robust communication strategies that align with client objectives, brand positioning, and wider cultural or policy narratives.
  • Lead campaign planning from brief to execution, ensuring a consistent narrative across all PR activities.

2. Media Relations & Press Office

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media.
  • Manage proactive and reactive press office functions, including media outreach, press release development, and media monitoring.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for media enquiries and ensure timely, accurate responses.

3. Content & Messaging

  • Oversee the development of high-quality content including press releases, messaging frameworks, briefing documents, speeches, and thought leadership.
  • Ensure all content aligns with client tone of voice and overall communication goals.

4. Influencer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and opinion leaders to amplify campaign reach and relevance.

5. Crisis & Issues Management

  • Monitor for potential reputational risks and contribute to the development of crisis communication plans.
  • Manage messaging, stakeholder communication, and media response.

6. Client Management

  • Serve as the day-to-day senior contact for clients, providing strategic counsel and ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Foster strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing direction, feedback, and professional development support.
  • Champion a collaborative, proactive, and high-performing team culture.

8. Evaluation & Reporting

  • Track and evaluate performance using relevant tools and metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize future activity and demonstrate value to clients.

9. Compliance and Sensitivity

  • Understand and adhere to government protocols, regulations, and sensibilities, ensuring all communication materials and strategies are compliant with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of PR account management experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked withpublic, financial, destination, property and retail sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex communication strategies within public, financial, destination, property and retail sectors.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of both regional and international media landscapes.
  • Proven experience in crisis management communications.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-profile work environment.
