Job Overview:

We are seeking a Vendor Document Expeditor to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of vendor documents in compliance with project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a background in document control and vendor management, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and track vendor documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and deadlines.
  2. Coordinate with vendors to obtain missing or incomplete documents.
  3. Review and verify vendor documents for accuracy and completeness.
  4. Maintain document control systems and databases for proper recording and storage.
  5. Communicate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to provide document updates.
  6. Prepare and submit reports on document status and progress.
  7. Ensure documents adhere to company and project standards.
  8. Assist in developing and implementing document control procedures.
  9. Train and mentor junior staff as needed.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the project manager or team leader.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in document control and vendor management.
  3. Knowledge of document control systems and software.
  4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and in a team.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Knowledge of project management principles is a plus.
  9. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
