Job description

The Electro Mechanical Engineer is responsible for performing all the administrative and operational functions necessary for the day to day operation of the project related to electromechanical activities

Job Duties

  • Review of Inspectors Daily Reports.
  • Preparation of Engineers Daily Diary.
  • General oversight of Inspectors daily activities including works assignments onsite performance and guidance on the supervision of the Contractors operations.
  • Review of Contractors inspection surveying and testing requests and subsequent completed reports.
  • Review and Approval of the Contractors Shop Drawings as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
  • Monitoring the performance of the survey party.
  • Review and Approval of the Contractors proposed materials and methods as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
  • Preparation of Meeting Minutes as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
  • Coordination with Contractors supervisory personnel regarding schedule sequence and method of work.
  • Monitoring conformance with the Contractors schedule.
  • Continuous Field Inspections of the work in the progress and consultation with both the Resident Engineers and Contractors supervisory staff.
  • Preparation of written and oral reports to the Resident Engineer on contractual and procedural matters.
  • Review of asbuilt drawings in coordination with inspectors and surveyors.

Qualifications :

  • Relevant Engineering Degree
  • Previous RTA approval is preferable

Experience

  • 10 years demonstrable experience in supervision of construction of roads and highways.
  • Previous experience in Dubai is required
