Job description

Al Futtaim Electronics, as one of the largest business houses in the Gulf, is the sole distributor for many brands such as Toshiba, Aftron, and Sanyo in the Gulf region. Some of the products range from state-of-the-art notebook computers, mobile devices, digital copiers, fax machines, consumer electronics including projection TVs, DVD players, and home appliances.
Al Futtaim Computer Software Products Company LLC (AFCOMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Al-Futtaim group, is the distribution partner for Nokia mobile phones to supply key domestic retailers in the UAE.

Responsibilities

  1. Executing sales of mobile phones to UAE retailers and dealers
  2. Ensuring customer and principal's satisfaction while achieving business objectives
  3. Reviewing and monitoring customers' weekly sales achievements vs targets
  4. Collecting account receivables timely from customers
  5. Responding to sales inquiries and concerns
  6. Preparing weekly customer excel forecasts reports
  7. Networking within the industry & generating feedback on competitive intelligence thus enabling preparation of product and price positioning
  8. Ensuring that timely and relevant reports are prepared for MIS purposes

Minimum Requirements

  1. Must have a University or a Bachelor's degree
  2. Must have experience as an Account Manager for a retailer/dealer for mobile phone sales
  3. 4 plus years of experience as an Account Manager of mobile phone products
  4. Must have a working knowledge of Excel formulae, PowerPoint, and email skills
