Position: Program Manager – Data Governance

Location: UAE (Dubai) & India

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reporting To: Director of Data Governance

Overview:

We’re hiring a seasoned Program Manager to lead Data Governance initiatives for a large banking organization. The ideal candidate will drive strategic data programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of data stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end program planning, execution, and delivery of data governance initiatives.
• Implement governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality standards.
• Engage with C-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee risk, compliance (e.g., GDPR, AML), and reporting efforts.
• Provide leadership to data stewards and analysts.

Requirements:

• 14+ years in program/project management, with 6+ in data governance (preferably in banking/finance).
• Strong experience with Informatica Data Governance, MDM, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, BCBS 239, etc.).
• Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or DGSP/CDMP preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
