We are recruiting a Compliance Manager - Fire Life Safety for our client, based in Dubai, UAE .

Job Purpose :

Ensure adherence to fire life safety standards by maintaining the Building Fire Life Safety Manual, overseeing updates (evacuation drawings, plans, SOPs including POD evacuation process), conducting training and awareness sessions, and ensuring compliance with local and international codes and standards.

• Verify Building FLS assessment submissions from consultants or relevant units meet standards.
• Collaborate with business units or project managers on fire safety assessments and projects, ensuring timely progress reporting.
• Coordinate with the Airport Fire Safety Department on fire safety measures.
• Contribute to fire safety project delivery and update the fire safety manual accordingly.
• Communicate with stakeholders, departments, and regulatory bodies.
• Plan and execute biennial evacuation drills in compliance with standards and business continuity plans.
• Maintain mastery of fire safety compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in fire prevention and protection systems, preferably within airport terminals or similar structures.
• Understand health and safety compliance protocols.
• Apply project delivery management standards and methodologies.
• Identify and resolve issues related to fire safety project delivery, especially regarding manual delivery.
• Lead the FLS Assessment corrective actions Working Group to final sign-off.
• Issue TOCN and TOAN notices as required.

Requirements :

• Minimum 6 years of experience.
• Degree in Fire Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, IBC, and UAE Fire Code.
• Preferred certifications : CFPS, CSP, or CEM.
