Job description

Senior Team Lead

Job responsibilities:

  1. Organize and direct operations workflow within the warehouse to ensure effective management of receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading, and shipping of products.
  2. Maintain inventory records and location data for production control and cost accounting, ensuring adherence to warehouse and distribution procedures.
  3. Conduct cyclical stock counts to maintain stock integrity, ensuring compliance with client contracts and internal requirements, and ensure stock accuracy in WMS.
  4. Coordinate with the customs department to ensure compliance with clearance procedures and legal requirements.
  5. Develop and maintain good relationships with customers to ensure high service levels.
  6. Manage and troubleshoot WMS issues to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of errors.
  7. Implement security, quality, health, safety, and environmental policies to meet standards in the distribution center.
  8. Ensure productivity standards are met within KPIs.
  9. Conduct staff performance appraisals and develop subordinates' competencies.
  10. Address negligent behaviors and ensure zero non-compliance with safety standards.
  11. Manage temperature requirements for designated areas.
  12. Oversee incoming material inspections, in-process checks, calibration controls.
  13. Report potential problems and improvement opportunities to the manager.
  14. Perform additional duties or projects as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications & Characteristics:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a stock controller, with knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory management, and basic accounting.
  • Skills in communication (English and Arabic), teamwork, supervision, and MS Office.
