Warehouse Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team. The Warehouse Team Leader will oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility, ensuring efficient management of inventory, timely fulfilment of orders, and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in warehouse operations, and a commitment to excellence in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Leadership:
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely completion of warehouse activities.
• Inventory Management:
• Oversee inventory control procedures, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials or products.
• Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Order Fulfilment:
• Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor order status and prioritize tasks to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
• Warehouse Operations:
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
• Implement and enforce best practices for warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Oversee the maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipment
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly and ensure corrective action is taken.
• Quality Assurance:
• Maintain high standards of product quality and integrity throughout the warehouse operations.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any quality issues or deficiencies.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Liaise with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Warehouse Management: 3 years (Required)
• Warehouse Supervisor: 1 year (Preferred)
