As a Driver, you will be the face of our commitment to timely and secure deliveries or transport services. You will be expected to adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times. This role demands a high level of responsibility, punctuality, and attention to detail. You will work in various conditions and must adapt quickly to changes in schedules or routes. Your daily work will involve operating vehicles ranging from small cars to large trucks or buses, depending on your license and company requirements. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you can hone your skills, interact with a variety of clients, and contribute significantly to operational success.

Responsibilities

1. Safely operate company vehicles to transport passengers or goods across locations.
2. Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure they are in optimal condition.
3. Plan and follow the most efficient routes to conserve time and fuel.
4. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
5. Assist passengers with boarding, loading, and unloading as necessary.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, passengers, and dispatchers for smooth operations.
7. Maintain logs detailing trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and hours worked.
8. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, punctual, and professional.
9. Ensure the cleanliness and regular maintenance of the vehicle assigned to you.
10. Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, ensuring passenger safety first.
11. Report any vehicle issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately and accurately.
12. Stay updated with road conditions, detours, and construction to avoid delays.

Requirements

1. Possession of a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle category.
2. Proven experience as a driver in varied conditions and settings.
3. Familiarity with GPS devices, road maps, and local area roads.
4. Capability to remain focused and alert during long hours of driving.
5. High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification preferred.
