We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Manager to join our fast-paced event management company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning and promotion, a strong background in digital and traditional marketing, and a proven track record of creating successful marketing campaigns. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive ticket sales & guest footfall, and attract sponsors and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
- Manage and oversee digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, SEO, web, radio and paid advertising.
- Create engaging content for websites, social media, press releases, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure effective event promotion.
- Analyze marketing data and track campaign performance to optimize strategies.
- Manage relationships with media outlets, influencers, and PR agencies to generate buzz for events.
- Develop sponsorship and partnership marketing strategies to increase event revenue.
- Oversee the design and production of marketing collateral, including event venue branding and signage, pre-event materials such as key visuals, flyers, advertisements, OOH.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to keep marketing strategies innovative and effective.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective campaign execution.
- Oversee and manage a small marketing team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Handle multiple high intensity projects and event campaigns simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and goals are met efficiently.
- Manage marketing team & marketing activities on-site at events.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the events, hospitality, or entertainment industry.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and metrics.
- Ability to work evenings and weekend during event build-up, event days and break-down days.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, SEO tools, CRM software, and social media management tools.
- Experience in partnership marketing and sponsorship development is a plus.
