AtkinsRalis is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with CostX experience to lead our pre-contract and measurement team in Abu Dhabi. We are looking to add an MRICS-qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our established team committed to technical integrity, innovation, and the development of our people.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-contract:

• Cost planning and estimating (BCIS and NRM1)
• Value engineering, cash flow forecasts, whole life costing, risk management
• Bills of quantities production (POMI and CESSM3)
• Tender services, including compilation, analysis, negotiations, and recommendations
• Contract drafting (FIDIC)

Post-contract:

• Management of bonds, insurances, and guarantee logs
• Interim valuations and payment certificates
• Variations analysis, recommendations, and management
• Risk and value management, cost control functions
• Cost analysis for project work
• Identifying, analyzing, and developing responses to commercial risks
• Preparation of progress and cost reports
• Reporting to the Associate Director on all commercial issues
• Understanding health and safety regulations implications
• Attending and representing at commercial meetings

Experiences and Qualifications:

• MRICS or APC candidate expecting to complete chartership within the specified time
• Experience in key sectors: reclamation and marine experience
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized UK university
• Minimum of 10 years of experience
• Minimum of 5 years UAE/international experience
• Must have a consultant and/or client background for at least 3 years
• Knowledge of QS software such as CostX or similar is required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

• Good project background, proven English technical writing skills
