Job description

Ideal Candidate : The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Data Consultant with a passion for leading impactful data and AI initiatives. This role involves developing and refreshing data strategies for various clients, primarily within the Client portfolio. The client is establishing a new, innovative data organization positioned to harness data and AI to drive innovation and create significant value across sectors.

Tasks :

1. Evaluate the client’s current data strategy and specific use cases it supports.
2. Collaborate with clients to understand their data-related challenges, objectives, and requirements.
3. Develop a data and AI roadmap implementation plan, focusing on data sharing and AI.
4. Examine the current data operating model, including functions, skills, processes, and department interactions.
5. Design the future data and AI operating model, detailing functions, processes, governance, and tooling enablers.
6. Analyze the current data architecture, including cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
7. Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand use-case requirements, with emphasis on AI and data sharing.
8. Identify and initiate data quality improvement initiatives.
9. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and relevant departments to align data initiatives with business objectives.

Desired Experience and Qualifications : Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, or related fields. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years in data consulting or related roles, with at least 3 years in senior or managerial positions. Proven experience managing large-scale, complex data initiatives with measurable outcomes. Deep understanding of business impact through big data technologies, AI, and machine learning, including recent LLMs. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build relationships with executive stakeholders. Results-oriented strategic thinking and a strong consulting toolkit.

Workload / Location : Full-time, on-site in Abu Dhabi.

Start date : Immediate; candidates should be available within 15-20 days after the Engagement Confirmation Letter.

Period of engagement : Options include hiring process or freelance contracting.
