Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager with a strong background in the hospitality industry, ideally in hotel pre-opening projects. The ideal candidate will lead the HR function, ensuring effective talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, training & development, and legal compliance in line with UAE labour laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management
  • Oversee all pre-opening HR activities, including manpower planning, policy implementation, and recruitment for all departments
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, and coordinate with PRO for visa processing and documentation
  • Drive Learning & Development initiatives, conduct training needs analysis, and implement ongoing staff development programs
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with the hotel's standards and local regulations
  • Manage payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits in coordination with Finance
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting a culture of engagement, recognition, and teamwork
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support audits and inspections as needed
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior management on strategic workforce planning
  • Support implementation and usage of HR systems and tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's is a plus)
  • 710 years of progressive HR experience in the hospitality sector
  • Previous hotel pre-opening experience is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices
  • Experience in Learning & Development is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g., HRMS, payroll platforms)
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus
  • PRO coordination experience is an added advantage
