JOB PURPOSE:
Carry out routine and emergency inspection & maintenance at Service Stations, Depots, and other Adnoc facilities related to civil, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and signage works.
Monitor & work with maintenance contractors for all corrective and preventive maintenance in coordination with the concerned maintenance Supervisor.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform routine or emergency repairs on facilities and equipment at service stations and Depots/Plants.
- Respond to end-user complaints, visit sites to assess issues, perform minor repairs, or coordinate major repairs with contractors.
- Inspect and monitor maintenance contractors to ensure quality work that meets standards and contractual obligations.
- Supervise minor development projects and modifications, ensuring proper execution and documentation such as handovers and certificates.
- Revisit sites with issues, assess work done, ensure standards are met, and report findings.
- Oversee third-party contractors performing maintenance tasks, including signage and civil works inspections.
- Address urgent minor problems and escalate major issues to supervisors and contractors.
- Review daily maintenance checklists and reports generated by contractors.
- Assist maintenance contractors with access to utilities and provide necessary information for maintenance tasks.
- Handle maintenance complaints received through the Oracle ERP system for civil, signage, and other issues.
- Support civil maintenance activities such as carpentry, painting, air conditioning, and plumbing.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, perform repairs, and ensure equipment is operational with safety precautions.
- Adhere strictly to safety instructions during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance schedules and perform duties of absent colleagues as needed.
- Handle end-user queries and requests in the supervisor’s absence.
- Review contractor submitted Bill of Quantities on-site.
- Inspect ongoing major projects and prepare reports.
- Ensure the quality of materials used during routine inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with vocational trade certification in relevant field.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a General Maintenance department within the Oil and Gas industry.
