Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless collaboration between Workshop and Project Teams, fostering teamwork and innovation.
  • Coordinate work order requisitions (WRN) from the Project Engineer regarding Drawings, Materials, and QA/QC documents.
  • Monitor material shortages and manhours related to work orders, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
  • Oversee the fabrication schedule linked to work orders, ensuring adherence to timelines and project goals.
  • Manage subcontractor relations, including issuing quotations, purchase orders, and work plans to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate actively in Project and Workshop Coordination meetings, contributing insights and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Contract Manager and Project Managers to develop and maintain a robust Workshop Fabrication Plan.
  • Interface with the Technical Support team to provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Submit weekly Workshop Labour Analysis Sheets for transparency and workforce productivity insights.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Contract Manager, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
  • Ensure compliance with Company and client QHSE policies, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate efforts to address nonconformance in materials/products, implementing corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Lead incident and near-miss investigations, fostering a safety culture and proactive reporting.
  • Conduct regular inspection and maintenance of workshop equipment and tools, upholding HSE regulations.
  • Foster collaboration among client subcontractors and stakeholders to streamline QHSE activities.
  • Work closely with other departmental managers to fulfill workshop requirements effectively.

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
  • Preferably prior experience in a similar role.
