Job description:
Job Purpose
Overseeing and managing quality control processes. Ensuring adherence to quality standards, implementing inspection procedures, and leading a team to maintain and improve product quality.
Key Accountability Areas
Quality Control Planning and Organization:
- Plan and coordinate in-process, final inspection, and testing activities.
- Stay current on all QC testing procedures.
Corrective Actions and Continuous Improvement:
- Initiate and document corrections and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate monthly reports for all QC notifications related to design and production.
- Maintain records for all types of NCRs (internal and external) and ensure prompt closure.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly customer inspection feedback reports.
Interdepartmental Collaboration:
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure the success of customer panel inspections.
- Contribute to PLC programs, relay configuration, and synchronize panel testing.
Compliance and Audit:
- Participate in periodic UL audits.

- Ability to recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers and develop them into a robust second line of management.

- Ensure equal treatment of subordinates without discrimination.

- Develop organizational structure considering current and future needs.
- Ensure job descriptions and deployment for all roles.
Business Process Improvements:
- Develop and coordinate well-defined systems, policies, procedures, and automation opportunities.
- Be familiar with relevant IT solutions and promote their use.
Adaptation:
- Adapt to new techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.
