With over 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, particularly within the IT sector, you will play a critical role in guiding the company's financial strategies, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth. This is a senior-level position that demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Requirements:

  1. Prepare and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
  2. Review financial reports for accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  3. Ensure all general ledger accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  4. Maintain the integrity of financial data, including journal entries and adjustments.
  5. Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate financial projections.
  6. Monitor budget expenditures and provide variance analysis, offering insights to management for informed decision-making.
  7. Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors during annual audits, ensuring the preparation of necessary documentation and facilitating auditor requests.
  8. Implement audit recommendations and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  9. Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
  10. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations, advising management on potential impacts and strategies for minimizing tax liabilities.
  11. Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations and optimizes its financial position.
  12. Prepare cash flow projections and manage investment decisions with the finance team.
  13. Evaluate and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Implement best practices in accounting software and systems, including training team members on new platforms.
  15. Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative environment for learning and development.
  16. Conduct performance reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
  17. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  18. Identify and mitigate financial risks within the organization, implementing internal controls as necessary.

Qualifications:

  3. Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (Zoho, Odoo, QuickBooks, SAP, MS Dynamics 365, Oracle).
  4. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
