Position: Electrical Engineer DEWA Specialist (UAE Experience Required)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in the UAE, with at least 23 years of hands-on experience in handling DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) submissions.
• In-depth knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations and DEWA codes and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Dialux, with the ability to prepare accurate electrical drawings and perform relevant calculations.
• Familiarity with electrical site works and project coordination. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review electrical drawings in compliance with DEWA and Dubai Municipality standards.
• Handle complete DEWA submission processes independently, including online applications, drawing submissions, and load schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and DEWA officials to ensure timely approval of designs and installations.
• Conduct site visits to verify compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Dialux for electrical layout, lighting, and power design.

Mandatory Requirements:

• UAE Experience is a MUST, specifically within Dubai.
• Proven experience in DEWA submissions is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Ability to prepare complete sets of electrical drawings independently.
• Should possess practical knowledge of electrical systems and installation works.
