Job Description
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring a seamless flow of service from the bar to the dining area while maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality.
- Manage inventory and supply chain logistics, including ordering, stock management, and vendor relations to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and attract a diverse clientele, including social media campaigns and local partnerships.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional customer experiences and adhere to service standards through ongoing development.
- Establish and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with local laws and promoting a safe and hygienic environment for staff and patrons.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing sales trends to drive revenue growth and cost control.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among staff members.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, resolving issues swiftly to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinate special events and promotions, managing logistics and staffing to ensure successful execution and memorable experiences for guests.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss performance, goals, and feedback, ensuring alignment with the restaurant's vision and objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but relevant experience can substitute education.
- At least 5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role to ensure deep operational knowledge.
- Experience in bar management, with a strong understanding of mixology and beverage trends to enhance the drink menu.
- Strong financial acumen with proficiency in budgeting and inventory management to drive profitability.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of building and retaining high-performing teams through motivation and development.
- Exceptional customer service skills, showcasing the ability to create memorable experiences that foster customer loyalty.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
