Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Carry out repairs and maintenance within the accommodation, such as furniture, equipment, piping, polishing works, swimming pool, electrical, walls, floors, or other items as directed.
2. Assist the Accommodation Supervisor with any room moves.
3. Perform minor repairs to wall plaster and renderings, including cracks, in preparation for painting.
4. Perform paintwork on interior and exterior building walls.
5. Assist in the preparation of check-in and check-out processes, including cleaning the premises when required.
6. Support the Accommodation Supervisor with follow-up inspections.
7. Assist the accommodation team with various duties.
8. Supervise casual cleaners in the absence of the Supervisor.
9. Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
10. Report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and name tag, maintaining high standards of personal appearance and hygiene, and adhering to hotel and departmental appearance standards.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school graduation or other relevant training or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, construction, or similar work.
• Knowledge of construction, plumbing, and electrical systems.
