A leading company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Marketing Communications professional to spearhead their external communications strategy. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, managing media relations, and executing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance visibility in both local and international markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury industries and proven expertise in stakeholder management and strategic planning.
The role is responsible for leading the external communications program to support the wider marketing objectives both in local and international markets. Client Details Our client is a highly reputable player in their industry with HQ in Abu Dhabi and international presence. Description * Collaborate with the internal teams to raise visibility through press releases, media collaborations, influencer partnerships, and related promotional activities. * Plan and execute Media trips annually to Abu Dhabi for key international media and influencers, focusing on priority international markets * Identify and create storytelling opportunities * Support the sponsorship team in leveraging existing partnerships * Oversee strategic engagement including media appearances, social media presence, and public event participation. * Coordinate with local and global agencies to execute communication strategies * Develop and lead communication plans to support new initiatives and key projects as needed. * Foster and sustain strong relationships with senior leadership and key government stakeholders. * Serve as a committee member * Manage the appointed communications agency responsible for enhancing international media presence. * 10+ years of experience in Marketing Communications, preferably within a large, multicultural organization. * Luxury Consumer and/or Luxury Hospitality Industry Experience * Proven expertise in communications, strategic marketing planning, branding, and product development. * Strong stakeholder and partnership management abilities, with a track record of effectively influencing executive-level stakeholders. * Demonstrated capability in identifying opportunities and implementing impactful strategies to drive measurable results. * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Economics.
