About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a
Duty Manager to join the
Front Office team in
Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Represent management of the hotel outside regular office hours, overseeing front office colleagues during overnight shifts to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant policies and procedures by front office colleagues.
- Manage the JI loyalty program, including addressing pending points and conducting training sessions.
- Attend daily handover briefings and departmental communication meetings.
- Monitor daily booking situations and handle guest bookings in case of overbooking.
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby and entrance areas, coordinating with Housekeeping, Lobby Ambassadors and Concierge as needed.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in English and a second language (Russian, Spanish, German, Arabic or French) is required for this role.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Duty Manager or 2 years experience as a Team Leader in a reputed hospitality brand.
- Working proficiency of Microsoft Office products, Opera PMS (Cloud), and HotSoS.
