Landscape Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site-Based Landscape Engineer to oversee and manage landscape construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape engineering and project management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the construction and installation of landscape projects.
• Conduct site analysis and review contractors' design elements.
• Review detailed construction documentation and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate landscape designs with overall project plans.
• Oversee all stages of landscape projects from initial planning to final installation.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and address any issues that arise during construction.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and address any client concerns.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure the use of sustainable practices and green building standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture/Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in landscape construction and project management.
• Minimum 8 years of experience required.
• Sound knowledge in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable practices.
• Excellent communication, managerial, and problem-solving skills.
