Job Responsibilities
- Prepare the Master and Construction schedule.
- Generate Monthly (MPR), Weekly (WPR), and Daily (DPR) reports on operational activities.
- Develop an internal schedule to identify & track major milestones to achieve the project completion date.
- Generate analysis reports, S-curve narrative reports for client & management review.
- Monitor and update project schedule on weekly and monthly basis.
- Establish Progress Measurement System (PMS) & prepare Deliverable Status Registers.
- Coordinate work between disciplines and subcontractors.
- Identify risks & plan risk responses.
- Plan and coordinate materials & resources.
- Perform critical path analysis.
- Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Develop and update resource histograms weekly or monthly as required.
- Prepare project cash flow and compare with actuals.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules.
- Analyze planned progress versus actual progress.
- Develop recovery schedules to catch up on delays.
- Prepare Progress Payment Certificates (PPC) and Requests for Invoices (RFI).
- Review subcontractor PPCs and invoices.
- Prepare tender schedules.
- Manage project costing and control all cost aspects.
- Maintain cost trend registers, prepare monthly forecasts, and manage variance logs.
- Collect and organize construction cost data, establish a sound expense filing system.
- Prepare and submit accurate project cost reports, verify cost performance, and implement corrective actions.
- Calculate man-hours for each project, evaluate budgeted vs. actual man-hours.
- Produce project planning closeout reports and productivity calculations; prepare project claims and extensions of time (EOT).
- Plan manpower requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Certification in Primavera and MS Project.
Additional Information:
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of overall experience handling EPC Oil & Gas Projects.
- At least 5 years of experience in Project Planning, Control, or Management.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and MS Projects.
- Commercial awareness, understanding project financing and cost control principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environment (HSE) management; ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
