Job Description

The primary function of the role is to bring new business opportunities and provide prospective customers/clients with all logistics services offered, including additional presentations as needed. The role involves working with clients to create solutions for their logistics needs and consulting throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies.
  2. Building business relationships with current and potential clients.
  3. Developing a new business prospect list to ensure future business development is planned in advance.
  4. Responsible for the profit and loss of the logistics business.
  5. Maintaining all account and new business approaches.
  6. Generating specific reports as required, aligned with the position.
  7. Maintaining close working relationships with the Customer Service, Operations, and Logistics teams.
  8. Focusing on winning and retaining profitable business.
  9. Managing financial forecasts and cost projections for new business submissions.
  10. Undertaking cross-selling and up-selling within the existing customer base to develop account potential through value-added products.
  11. Managing and coordinating all commercial activities of a defined vertical group of customers with the customer service team, in line with the company's short and long-term results and targets.
Qualifications
  • Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50%.
